Welcome to the AI RSTS DEV Blog

My name is Annette Garcia. I’m finishing my bachelor’s degree in computer science with a minor in psychology, and I’ve started taking master’s level classes to pursue a graduate degree in data science and AI.

I’m also the founder of AI RSTS DEV — an AI-first company I started while still in school.

What RSTS Builds

RSTS builds AI employees for businesses.

Most AI products are general-purpose — you open a browser tab, ask a question, get an answer, and close it. An AI employee is different. It’s trained on your company’s specific context and workflows. It lives inside your operation. It handles emails, researches leads, pulls reports, manages intake, follows up on proposals — the repetitive work that takes up real hours of a real person’s week.

The businesses we work with are founder-led service companies. The principal is still in the business daily, the team is stretched thin, and there’s a stack of admin work that doesn’t need a human to do it — it just needs someone to show up and do it consistently. That’s what an AI employee does.

You can see what this looks like in practice by taking the free audit.

What We’ve Done So Far

I had the chance to pitch to a mid-sized engineering company here in South Florida. It was a live demo — I showed them what an AI employee could actually do for their team in real time.

It didn’t end with a close. But it taught us a lot, and I want to dedicate a full post to how that pitch went — what worked, what I’d do differently, and what we learned. Stay tuned for that one.

Where We Are Right Now

I’m currently working on defining how I want to bring in clients. Specifically, I’m building a step-by-step process I can run repeatably to move prospects from cold to signed.

Part of that is in the website itself — I’m building out the audit form and booking flow to carry leads through the process with as little friction as possible. A post on exactly how that’s being built is coming soon.

What I’m Documenting Here

This blog is where I document building AI RSTS DEV from the ground up.

That means the product work: the workflows I’m building, the sales process I’m figuring out, what works, what breaks, and what I’m testing. It also means the business side: pitches, lessons from demos, and how I think about growing a company while I’m still in school learning the underlying technology.

I’m not going to document only the wins or the finished products. I want to show what it actually looks like to be figuring this out in real time — the things that don’t work, the pivots, the re-attempts.

Coming Up

A few things I want to go deeper on in upcoming posts:

  • The South Florida pitch — what a first demo to a mid-sized business actually looks like, including what I’d do differently
  • The sales process — how I’m structuring client acquisition and what I’m building on the website to support it

Thanks for reading. See you soon.
